We collect what Night Vybes needs to work and keep people safe. We never sell your personal information, and we never track your location in the background.
What we collect and why

Face ID and your device passcode never leave your phone. We only learn whether the unlock succeeded on your device.
Who we share it with
- Other users see your profile and your posts while they are live. Your exact check-in location is never shown, only the venue.
- Service providers that run parts of Night Vybes for us, only to do that: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Apple and Google (app stores and payments). We will list any new provider here before we start using it.
- Law enforcement or regulators, when the law requires it or to protect someone from serious harm. Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- A buyer, if the business is sold, under this same policy.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile at any time, and turn off location access in your phone's settings (you then can't post, but can still browse by choosing a city).
- Delete your account in the app (Profile, Delete account), which deletes your profile and posts except the safety and legal records above.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California, Texas and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, to object to some uses, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email and we will reply within 30 days.
International users
Night Vybes is run from the United States, and our providers may store data in the US or other countries. Where the law requires it, we use approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for transfers.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and admin access requires two-factor sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires.
